Batman Vs Superman

Comics have been a major part of my as a childhood and today, many of the heroes I admired back then are being brought to life on the big screen. Undeniably, two of the most noted heroes of all comic history are Batman and Superman. Fans have debated for years about who would win in a fight between these two.

Batman

A millionaire of Gotham city by the name of Bruce Wayne, this dark hero wears a black leather suit in the design of a bat and uses his vast riches to acquire handy gadgets and weapons for his vigilante activities.

During the day, he is a well respected businessman, at night he patrols the street in search of criminals. Aided by his Butler, Alfred, this hero has arrested many large criminals, most famous of which are The Joker, Two Face, Poison Ivy and Cat Woman along with a long list of others.

After witnessing the death of his parents at the hands of a robber, young Bruce grows up to be a genius millionaire in charge of a large, highly successful corporation. He vowed to himself that another defenseless person would not suffer at the hands of a criminal and so Batman was born.

Superman

Raised by a childless couple, on a farm somewhere in the US, who gave him his name, Clark Kent, this powerful being is most certainly a force to be reckoned with. Possessing super human strength, the ability to fly at incredible speeds, punch through walls, shoot laser beams out of his eyes and see through solid steel.

Clark was raised as a normal boy for most of his life, until he began to discover his true abilities. Only then did he come to learn of his origins, that he was found by his then young parents in a space capsule that crash landed on their farm one night. He was an alien to Earth, from the planet, Krypton.

When all is safe, Clark Kent works as a reporter for the Daily Bugle, when his super hearing picks up the sound of someone in troubled, he finds a concealing place to change, usually a phone booth, and flies to the rescue of anyone in need. Unlike his counterpart, Batman, Superman does not dwell in shadows, he is quite popular to the people of his country.

There are times when I feel like the world could use a couple of guys like these two, maybe they will one day inspire someone to rise to the challenge.
